comma CMMS, is a product of Parafernalia, Ltd a software company registered in Macau SAR and Hong Kong SAR that started operations in April 2013. comma CMMS was founded by Rui Alves, a serial entrepreneur and a C&I maintenance engineer with more than 15 years in the field of industrial maintenance as well as another 15 years of programming experience.

This uncommon mix of industrial maintenance experience and programming skills along with many hours of usage of large (and expensive) CMMS systems such as IBM maximo and SAP PM, allowed for a knowledge synergy that resulted in comma CMMS.

At the end of 2017, comma CMMS is used by close to 3000 companies worldwide and is growing at a rate of approximately 40 new companies a month. We must clearly be doing something right!
