WO can be issued based on counters associated with functional locations. This feature is tipically used to create an action based on an equipment running hours.

What happens if, for example, the whole equipment is replaced by another or a major equipment component is replaced and the running hours counter associated with that functional location needs to be reset?

1. Go to the FL details page for the desired functional locations (to find the desired functional location, go inside the edit view of the maintenance plan and view the source WO - the associated FL will be specified there).

2. Click "Change parameters"

3. Check "Disable counter" and click the "Update" button. Let the page repload.

4. The counter has been reset. You can now update the counter value from the start. Note that if you are now starting with an equipment that already has counter values on it and if the current counter value is higher then the trigger counter value, the system will generate a work order (can take up to 15 minutes). You can choose to keep that work order or complete and close immediately.
