Version 1.4.3 is now live on all servers. There are many improvements under the hood and a few that you can possibly already have seen:

1. Enhanced work orders tags: you now can include work order tags on search filters.

2. Enhanced equipment tags: tags are now included on the equipment module to give users an extra layer of customization on how to organize information. It is also possible to save those on search filters.

3. Work orders can now be configured to allow for tags to be edited even when the work order is closed.

4. Depeding on user group settings, it is now possible to allow users to change the work order summary and description at all times until the order is closed. All changes are saved in the logs and can be checked anytime.

5. Several bug fixes.

Welcome to version 1.4.1 (March 2020). A few new features and bug fixes with the major change being the new payment gateway and payment accounts interface. We are now using 2checkout to process our payments which is a lot more flexible than paypal. Also a note that prices have increased as follows:

professional accounts increase from USD10 to USD15 per user per month

premium accounts increase from USD20 to USD25 per user per month

Existing clients will be emailed a coupon code that will keep their subscription price the same for the next year of renewals.

Also auto-renew subscription payments are finally available.

We removed the real-time google currency conversion feature due to the end of this service by google. If you have equipment in comma CMMS with a purchase value in a currency different from your plant currency and no fixed conversion rule, then no conversion will be applied.

Hello

We are currently experiencing some issues with the real-time currency converter provided by google. This is because, with the amount of users running on the system, we have made too many requests to the google API and they blocked our server from connecting.

We are currently assessing this situation which will probably mean we will have to change supplier to one that can accept the amount of connections we are making.

As a workaround, you can set a fixed conversion rate on the financial section of the modules configuration areanfor rates that you use frequently. This will bypass the connection to the google converter.

We will be keep posting news about this matters.

In order to guarantee good quality service for our existing clients and due to a large number of projects currently underway, we have temporarily susepending account upgrades from free light accounts.

From within the comma CMMS, if you try to upgrade your account from a free light account you will see the following note:

This causes no impact whatsoever to existing clients on Professional or Premium accounts.

IF YOU ARE ON A FREE LIGHT ACCOUNT NONE OF YOUR EXISTING DATA IS DELETED, YOU CANNOT UPGRADE but can continue to use the account has you have been so far.

We did a lot on this update, but the following is of note:

1. You can now dowload (.csv) the full equipment history log

2. Fixed blank page error when creating work orders when the total work orders are above 40000. Some users were starting to get affected by this bug.

3. Possibility of deletion of a work request is now implemented.

4. Implement possibility of setting a min qty of -1 for no min qty warning.

5. Big changes on the API to support our new (and upcoming) android mobile app.

6. On an FL details page there's now the possibility to list target or installed equipment "on" or "on and under" the current FL.

Three years later we have reached verion 1.0.0!! This version fixes a lot of bugs and has the following major new features:

-[EQUIP] Import file (equipment) - For premimum accounts only.
-[USER] User profile option to be notified of any modifications done to an order user is assigned to.
-[MPLANS] Specify number of weeks for repetition on scheduling of maintenance plans

We are currently working hard on the next release of comma CMMS. This next release will introduce some new features (there will be no obvious differences to existing paid customers). The major changes are:

• New types of accounts.
• The free-trial accounts will be replaced by a lite version that requires monthly reactivation.
• New online training programs will be made available (beginner, intermediate and advanced).
• Registration, service subscription and account upgrades and downgrades will be fully automated.

We are also expanding our team to ensure comma CMMS grows to become more user-friendly and intuitive to use at the same time that we improve customer communications. We will also be looking to attend trade shows and make more direct personal contact with maintenance professionals.

We are very excited to announce that we now have an open-source code repository running on github.

The repository currently contains code you can use today for the arduino controller boards to which you can connect sensors and have the sensor readings trigger the creation of work requests.

That can be useful in situations where the equiment cannot be monitored continually but actions must be taken when some parameters get out of certain limits (e.g. the temperature of electrical cabinets).

Any computer/ controller/ device that can connect to the internet is potentially useable as a comma CMMS API client. Stay tuned for more open-source code for other platforms.

All of our development tests are made with firefox (hands down the best browser and highly recommended for the best comma CMMS experience you can have - including on android)and chrome. Most of our customers are also on one of these two browsers, so we believe we have about 90% of our user base covered.

There's a few customers and free trial users on internet explorer (really? ;-)). Internet explorer is mostly ok (firefox is still recommended for these users, though) but we have some more users on Mac and iOS devices using Safari.

Since the last update, the login screen was out of position for safari users only which although is not a terrible problem, it simply does not look good! We hate problems like that and will go at them immediately to ensure comma CMMS looks as good as it can on all platforms.

If you mostly use a Mac or iOS device, we would love to hear from you when you believe you have experienced some kind of weird behaviour that you suspect is not right.

Please contact us to info@commacmms.com with a description of the problem. We will do our best to solve the problem on your platform. You will also be doing a great service (!) for the other Mac users!

Prepare for exciting new features, bug fixes (yeah, there were some bugs) and some new functionality frequently asked for (think the ability to order your functional location lists and batch change of maintenance plan statuses).

Main improvements on this version are:

1. Redesigned reports and statistics area, including the ability to schedule reports for daily, weekly and monthly cycles with email notifications to a configurable list of recipients (recipients may or may not be system users - i.e. the reports are accessible without the need to login provided users have the private link).
2. Non-paid accounts now see marketing messages at the top of the dashboard (these are switched off on paid accounts).
3. Batch complete and batch close of work orders from the work orders search console.

All other improvements and bug fixes will be published soon on the development log.
